Vista Tax Update 2024

The first Vista Tax Update for the new year has been released.  For Vista users in the cloud (VFC & VEC) activating the routine is easy!

Payroll>PR Routines

PR Routines File InitializationGo to PR Routines in the Payroll Module.  Click on File and then Initialize.

Do you want to initialize PR Routine information?A box with "Do you want to initialize PR Routine information?" will pop up.  Click on Yes.
Successfully initialized Tax Routine information.A box with "Successfully initialized Tax Routine information." will then pop up.  Click on Close.
Go to the Grid and check to make sure that the "Last Updated" column has the current date.  Also, for the Routines that have changed, you will see a 24 behind the Procedure Name.

Note:  If a routine has more than one update in a calendar year, you will see a number after the two digit year which represents the number of the update for that routine during that year  (i.e., for IL Tax, the Procedure Name has a 232 after it.  This indicates that it is the second update for the routine for calendar year 2023).

To ensure that you do not miss initializing a new Tax Update, I recommend that you make the PR Routines Initialization part of your Payroll Workflow.
